GEvTerm Initiative
The GEvTerm (Global Event Terminology) initiative is the current focus of LTAC. See http://www.ltacglobal.org/gevterm for more information. The GEvTerm initiative relates to the LTAC framework by promoting the development of a freely accessible lexical/terminological database of specialized language designed to assist visitors and newly arrived residents in overcoming linguisitic frustrations. We believe that immediate access to lexical/terminological information promotes language learning in context.
